Location of Kélémé in Niger

Kélémé is a village in the rural municipality of Tama in Niger .

The village, headed by a traditional chief ( chef traditionnel ), is located in the Maggia valley , around six kilometers northeast of Tama, the capital of the rural community of the same name, which belongs to the Bouza department in the Tahoua region. Larger villages around Kélémé are the approximately eight kilometers northeast location Garadoumé that about nine kilometers northwest preferred Assoudjé and about ten kilometers west location Angoual Denia .

In the summer of 2005, cholera broke out in Kéléme . There were 86 illnesses and nine deaths in the village population.

At the 2012 census, Kélémé had 5,748 inhabitants living in 791 households. At the 2001 census, the population was 4,051 in 643 households, and at the 1988 census, the population was 1,253 in 214 households.

In Kélémé there is a simple infirmary ( Case de Santé ).
