Queen of the Mountains is an American western from 1954.
action
In 1880 the rancher Pop Jones drives his huge herd of cattle from Texas to new pastures in Montana with his daughter Sierra Nevada and cowboy Nat Collins. On the way north they are ambushed by Indians and Pop killed. Sierra and the cowboy Nat come to a village of black-footed Indians . But Chief Colorado releases the two whites again. The peaceful leader of the Blackfoot is convinced of the peaceful coexistence of Indians and whites. Sierra can go back to her late father's new pastures. There she learns, however, that the rich rancher Tom McCord has illegally taken the land. However, Sierra cannot prove that she is the rightful heir to the land. But the cowboy Farrell comes to her aid. Farrell works undercover as a cowboy for McCord, but investigates McCord.
Reviews
"Only moderately exciting and sometimes quite implausible, but well-photographed westerns."
