Kutenhaus , on cards also inconsistent in the spelling Kütenhaus or Kütt House is a local situation in the northwest of Bergisch city of Wuppertal on Steinberger Bach .

Location and description

The yard is at an altitude of 188  m above sea level. NHN on Gut Steinbergs street in the west of the Eckbusch residential area in the Uellendahl-Katernberg district . Neighboring locations are Frankholz (Beek) , Frankholz (Varresbeck) , Frankholzhäuschen , Frankholzhöhe , the riding center Katernberg , Häuschen , Lohrenbeck , Gut Steinberg , Eskesberg , Bergerheide and Am Hagen .

Etymology and history

On the topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1824, the farm is listed as a Küttenhaus . Kutenhaus was located in the municipality of Sonnborn , which was split off from the mayor's office in Haan in 1867 and which was renamed the municipality of Vohwinkel in 1888, when territory was ceded to the city of Elberfeld .

In the municipality lexicon for the Rhineland province of 1888, a house with 22 inhabitants is given.

When Wuppertal was founded in 1929, Kutenhaus was incorporated into the city area as part of Vohwinkel.
