Kışlaköy is a place in the Mut district of the southern Turkish province of Mersin . Until 2012, Kışlaköy was a village with 207 inhabitants at last and then became part of the city of Mut after a regional reform . The place is located southwest of the D-715 trunk road from Karaman to Silifke on the connecting road to Gülnar , about 20 kilometers southeast of Mut and 100 kilometers southwest of the provincial capital Mersin . It is located in the Göksu valley , which cuts through the Taurus Mountains here, on the north bank of the river.

One kilometer north of the village is the settlement hill Kilise Tepe , which was inhabited from the early Bronze Age at the beginning of the 3rd millennium through the time of the Hittite Empire to the Byzantine period.
