The three-time Grammy winner celebrated her greatest success with country music influenced by pop . She placed 18 singles on the Billboard country charts from 1981 to 2001 , four of them at number one: Do Ya ' (1987), I'll Always Come Back (1988),Hold Me (1989) and Come Next Monday (1990). biography
Oslin had already recorded two less successful singles in 1981. Only Clean Your Own Tables reached number 72 on the country charts. Other singers such as Charly McClain , Judy Rodman , Dottie West , The Judds or Anne Murray also recorded songs by Oslin. It wasn't until 1987 that she achieved her breakthrough as a singer with the album 80's Ladies and the top 10 hit of the same name. In the following years she received not only the Grammy but also the most important awards in country music such as the CMA and the ACM Awards . In 1988 both institutions voted Oslin Singer of the Year . After 1991 she achieved only minor successes.
