References and comments

  1. That Mathy was Minister of State from 1866 to 1868 is not stated by Leiser, but Spuler describes him as Prime Minister . In the ADB (e.g. in the biography of Anton von Stabel) Mathy is named as Minister of State.
  2. The statement that Stabel was again Minister of Justice since February 1867 is based on the information on his person's biography in the ADB . Who was Baden's Minister of Justice from July 1866 to February 1867 cannot be found in Stabel's biography in the ADB. Neither Spuler nor Leiser mentioned a name that headed the Baden Ministry of Justice for the period from 1860 to 1868.
  3. The minister without portfolio is only given in Spuler, but not in Wolfgang Leiser's list.
