- ↑ Who was Baden's Minister of Justice before 1822 and from 1828 to 1831 cannot be found in the list of ministers for the Grand Duchy of Baden 1818–1918 in the book The Governments of the German Middle and Small States 1815–1933 (pages 219 to 229). According to Furtwängler, the Ministry of Justice was dissolved from 1819 to 1822 (during this time the powers were transferred to the Ministry of the Interior and the Court of Justice) and vacant from 1828 to 1830, with privy councilor Joh.Müller running the business during this period.
