  1. ^ With regard to the person of Friedrich Adolf Klüber, there are very contradicting statements in the literature. In the Allgemeine Deutsche Biographie , Volume 16, Page 247, the only son of Johann Ludwig Klüber is briefly discussed. There the entry into the Baden State Ministry as Foreign Minister is given for the year 1848 and the entry into retirement for the year 1849. Klaus Schwabe in the book The Governments of the German Middle and Small States: 1815–1933 is on pages 219 up to 229 a list of ministers drawn up by Wolfgang Leiser (Minister of the Grand Duchy of Baden 1818–1918), in which on page 224 Friedrich Adolf Klüber was the head of the Ministry of the Grand Ducal House and Foreign Affairs for the period 1849 to 1850. In Bertold Spuler's book Regents and Governments of the World, Part II, Volume 3: Modern Times 1492 - 1918 on page 68, Friedrich Adolf Klüber is even given as the so-called "Prime Minister" for the years 1849 to 1856, which is obviously wrong, However, it has been taken over without reflection in many tables, such as in the appendix to the book by Eberhard Gönner and Günther Haselier: Baden-Württemberg, history of its countries and territories . Verlag Ploetz, Freiburg 1980. The list here follows the information provided by Wolfgang Leiser, which appears to have been thoroughly researched and to which the Heilberg-based professor Frank Engehausen also refers in his book Small History of the Grand Duchy of Baden Verlag G. Braun, Karlsruhe 2005 on page 118 . This also coincides with the list of Baden's foreign ministers in the Handbook of Baden-Württemberg History. Volume 5 , edited by Commission. f. historical regional studies in Baden-Württemberg, Stuttgart 2007, page 480.
