Schmyhal cabinet

The Schmyhal Cabinet is the government of Ukraine formed on March 4, 2020 and led by Prime Minister Denys Schmyhal . It is the successor to the Honcharuk cabinet .

After the Ukrainian Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk resigned from his office on March 4, 2020, the Verkhovna Rada , the Ukrainian parliament, elected Denys Schmyhal, a new prime minister, on the same day, who also presented a new cabinet on March 4. In a speech on March 4, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Selenskyj justified the change of government with a billion- dollar budget and falling economic output.
