Franchises Toronto FC , with play operations in the semi-professional League1 Ontario is under contract.

Also in 2018 he made his debut for the senior team in Barbados , the country where his parents were born.

Club career

Keason Trench was born on January 16, 2000 to Barbadian parents in the North York borough of Toronto. Little is known about his early career as a soccer player; from 2014 he appeared for the Ontario- based GSSA Academy . He represented this until 2016 and toured with her, among other things, twice through England , before he switched to the youth department of the Barbadian first division club Notre Dame SC in 2016 . He was active in his parents' country of birth until spring 2018, before Trench was accepted by the Toronto FC Academy , the academy of the major league soccer franchise Toronto FC . In this he was used from the 2018 game in the highest youth team, Toronto FC III , with play in the semi-professional League1 Ontario .

He made his debut in the said third men's team of Toronto FC on April 29, 2018 in a 1-1 home draw against FC London , when the game was played from the start and over the full game. After another 90-minute assignment a week later, he came only to short assignments in two further championship games in May and July. In the five league games of Toronto FC III in August 2018, Trench was in use in all games over the full game. His last championship game in the 2018 game year was played on September 18 in a clear 6-0 defeat away from the now champion and cup winner Vaughan Azzurri . For the 2019 game year starting May 2019, Trench will also be listed in the Toronto FC III squad.

National team career

For a friendly international match against Belize on June 3, 2018, Trench was called up to the senior team of Barbados for the first time . Before that, he had not been part of any of the Canadian Football Association's youth teams, but he was already playing for the Barbadian U-17 national team , which he temporarily led as team captain. A national coach Collin Harewood did not use the 18-year-old central defender in the 0-0 draw, so Trench had to wait a few months for his next call-up. In the course of qualifying for the 2019/20 CONCACAF Nations League , the current coach Ahmed Mohamed brought him into the starting line-up for the game against El Salvador (3-0 defeat) on October 13, 2018 and left him in central defense for the entire duration of the match Use.

After Trench had led the Barbadian U-20 national team through the 2018 CONCACAF U-20 Championship as team captain at the beginning of November 2018 and had been on the pitch for the full duration of the three defeats and the only draw, he was called up again in the senior team of Barbados. In the 3-0 success in qualifying for the CONCACAF Nations League 2019/20 against the US Virgin Islands , he was on the field again for the entire 90 minutes. The native Canadian was not included in the following friendly games, but was used again for the entire duration of the game in the last qualifying game, a narrow 1-0 defeat against Nicaragua . In the end, it was not enough for Barbados to participate in said tournament.
