It is located in the historic Quedlinburger Neustadt on the south side of Kaiserstraße and is listed as a children's home in the Quedlinburg monument register. To the east is the listed building Kaiserstraße 38a , to the west is the building Kaiserstraße 40 .
Architecture and history
The massive brick-built exposed building was built in the second half of the 19th century as an institution for neglected children . Later it was used as a school for small children. It was built in the style of late classicism . The symmetry of the facade is emphasized by a central riser .
