Lie won slalom and super-G at the 2013 Whistler Cup . After reaching the age limit, she competed in her first FIS race at the end of November 2014 and celebrated her first victory in the FIS giant slalom in Trysil on December 11, 2014 . In January 2015 she became Norwegian junior champion in combination and also took part in the European Youth Olympic Festival in Malbun , where she finished fourth and fifth in slalom and giant slalom. In the following season, the first appearances in the European Cup followed , with a 16th place in the Super G of Kvitfjell her best result. In February 2016, she took part in the Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer and achieved two placements among the top ten with fifth place in combined and ninth place in slalom. A month later she was part of the Norwegian squad for the 2016 Junior World Championship in Sochi , but remained there without a result. At the end of the season she was Norwegian runner-up in the downhill and finished third in Super G and the combination.
At the beginning of winter 2016/17, she finished second at the European Cup Super G in Kvitfjell on December 9, 2016, thus achieving her first podium finish in this racing series. On January 21, 2017, she made her debut in the World Cup on the downhill in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , but was eliminated. In March 2017 she took part in a junior world championship in Åre for the second time and achieved twelfth place in the downhill as the best result. On December 2nd, 2017, she won her first World Cup point as the 30th downhill in Lake Louise and a week later with the Super G in Kvitfjell, her first European Cup race. At the 2018 Junior World Championships in Davos , she won the gold medal in the downhill and Super-G as well as the silver medal in the team competition .
