Kalanchoe adelae is a species of the genus Kalanchoe in the thick-leaf family(Crassulaceae).

Vegetative characteristics
Kalanchoe adelae is a perennial , completely bare plant that reaches heights of 30 to 60 centimeters. Its simple, stem-round, strong, upright shoots are lignified at their base. The fleshy leaves are sessile. The elongated leaf blade is 7 to 18 inches long and 2.5 to 5.5 inches wide. Its tip is blunt and the base widened. The leaf margin is irregularly crenated or toothed.
Generative characteristics
The loose inflorescence is paniculate to evenly distributed. The pendulous flowers are on 10 to 15 millimeter long flower stalks . The calyx is bell-shaped and the calyx tube 3 to 4.5 millimeters long. The egg-shaped to triangular, pointed calyx lobes have a slightly attached tip. They are 4 to 8.5 millimeters long and 3.5 to 4.5 millimeters wide. The corolla is bell-shaped and the corolla tube is 13 to 15.5 millimeters long. Their ovoid-round, blunt corolla lobes have an attached tip. They are 3.5 to 5.2 millimeters in length and 3.5 to 5.2 millimeters wide. The stamens are attached below the center of the corolla tube. The upper stamens protrude slightly from the flower. The semicircular, sanded-out nectar flakes are 0.7 to 1 millimeter long and 1 to 1.2 millimeters wide. The elongated lanceolate carpel has a length of 7 to 8.5 millimeters. The stylus is 6 to 9.5 millimeters long.
