Kalle Kerman (born February 10, 1979 in Kuopio ) is a former Finnish ice hockey player who was under contract for many years at KalPa Kuopio , SaiPa Lappeenranta and Jokerit Helsinki in the SM-liiga . He also played in Sweden for Mora IK and Luleå HF .

Career

Kalle Kerman began his career as an ice hockey player in 1999 with KalPa Kuopio . After two years in the third-class Suomi-sarja , the striker and his team rose in 2001 as third division champions in the Mestis , the second-highest Finnish division. In the 2001/02 season, Kerman scored 33 scorer points, including 17 goals, and five scorer points, including three goals, in nine playoff games in 43 second division main round games. Then Kerman was signed by SaiPa Lappeenranta , for which he played the following three seasons in the SM-liiga . In the 2005/06 season , the Finn first worked in other European countries when he was on the ice for Mora IK in the Swedish Elitserien . After playing for their league rivals Luleå HF from 2006 to 2008 , Kerman returned to his Finnish homeland during the 2007/08 season , where he was given a one and a half year contract with Jokerit Helsinki . In April 2009, Kerman signed for two years with his ex-club KalPa Kuopio, which in the meantime had been promoted to the SM-liiga. In 2014 he ended his career.

International

For Finland , Kerman took part in the 2009 World Cup in Switzerland .
