She began speed skating and short track at the age of seven , started for the CPV Lévis club and trained under Sébastien Cros and Jeffrey Scholten at the performance center in Montreal . Roberge has been competing in international championships since 2002. At first she was particularly successful in the junior division. At the Junior World Championships in 2004 she was eighth in the all-around competition, and she achieved her best individual result with fourth place over 500 m. In the 2004/05 season Roberge made his debut in the World Cup. She won her first international title at the Junior World Championships in Belgrade in 2005 , she was victorious over 500 m, over 1000 m she won silver, in all around and with the relay bronze. In the adult sector, too, she made her breakthrough in the season. At the World Championships in Beijing she won the relay world championship, at the Team World Championships in Chuncheon she won bronze with her teammates.
In the 2005/06 season Roberge finally reached the top of the world. She reached two podium places over 500 m in four World Cups and three more with the relay, including her first World Cup victory. At the World Championships in Minneapolis , she won the bronze medal in the all-around as well as over 500 m and 1000 m, while she won silver in the relay. At the team world championship in Montreal, she also reached third place. She qualified for the Olympic Games in Turin and finished fourth in the 500 m, in the relay she won her first Olympic medal with silver.
The post-Olympic season 2006/07 brought Roberges first World Cup victories in individual races, she won over 500 m and 1000 m. In addition, she got two more podium places with the relay. At the world championship in Milan , she won the 500 m race and thus her only world championship title in an individual race. In the all-around competition and with the relay, she also won bronze, as well as at the team world championship in Budapest . In the 2007/08 season Roberge reached another six World Cup podiums. She built on her impressive medal record at the World Championships in Gangneung by winning bronze in the 500 m and 1000 m. She was fourth in the all-around competition. Roberge also won bronze again at the team world championship in Harbin . The 2008/09 season was less successful for Roberge. She won bronze in the relay at the World Championships in Vienna , but was unable to place in the top ranks in the individual races. At the team world championship in Heerenveen she was fourth.
In their last season of 2009/10 Roberge reached three more podiums with the relay and two more over 500 m. She played her second Olympic Games in Vancouver . Over 500 m and 1000 m she reached the semi-finals and finished sixth and fifth. Over 1500 m she was 13th, but in the relay Roberge was able to win the silver medal again. At the team world championship in Bormio Roberge could also win silver. She finally started at the World Championships in Sofia and won over 500 m and the silver medal with the relay. In the all-around as well as over 1500 m and 3000 m she was fifth. After the season, Roberge retired from competitive sports for a year in order to advance her studies. In the 2011/12 season she returned to the Canadian team.
