history

The company was founded in 2003 and started national and international scheduled flight operations.

Kam Air was placed on the list of operating bans for the airspace of the European Union in November 2010 . It is therefore subject to an entry ban for Europe.

On January 20, 2018, a total of 40 Kam Air employees were in the Inter-Continental Hotel in Kabul , which was stormed by terrorists that day. Nine crew members fell victim to the attack, and many other company employees were traumatized . Kam Air then significantly reduced the number of its daily flights.

Destinations

Kam Air flies to domestic and Middle Eastern destinations from Kabul . In 2010 there was a connection to Vienna , the first to Europe . Due to safety deficiencies, however, an immediate ban on entry into the EU was imposed after the first flight.
