Kammloipe

The Kammloipe is one of the longest and most snow-sure trails in Germany . It is located in the south of the Free State of Saxony in the Erzgebirge / Vogtland Nature Park and extends over a length of 36 km between Johanngeorgenstadt and Schöneck / Vogtl. The ski path runs between the Kleiner Kranichsee and the Aschberg mostly along the border. With the numerous connecting trails and ski hiking trails, the Kammloipe is one of the largest and most attractive cross-country skiing areas in Germany.

At Wildenthal via the Hirschenstander Pass and in Johanngeorgenstadt via Henneberg, there are direct connections to the Erzgebirge / Krušné hory ski route , which leads as a long-distance ski trail over the Erzgebirgskamm to Altenberg in the Eastern Ore Mountains .
