The Kamow Ka-62 ( Russian Камов Ка-62 ) is the civil version of the Kamow Ka-60 from the Russian manufacturer Kamow .

history

The prototype of this machine had five rotor blades, while the production model only had four of them. This type of helicopter is to be used for freight and passenger transport as well as in rescue services. Series production has not yet started.

Furnishing

Half of the cabin is made of composite materials . Torque compensation is done by a Fenestron . The horizontal stabilizer has two vertical end plates. The retractable three-legged landing gear has twin tires. The pilot's cabin is almost completely glazed to allow better visibility. The two gas turbines are located in the rear of the upper fuselage. The passenger cabin is easily accessible through two sliding doors.
