With the Kamow Ka-115 ( Russian Камов Ка-115 ) Kamow developed a light multi-purpose helicopter in the class of the French " Ecureuil ". The drive consists of a 550 hp PK206D turbine, which is being developed by the Russian-Canadian joint venture Pratt & Whitney / Klimow . The coaxial rotor system known from Kamow , consisting of two counter-rotating three-blade rotors, was retained.

A mock-up of the Ka-115 was exhibited at the MAKS '97 in Zhukovsky near Moscow . Versions as passenger, cargo, rescue and SAR as well as patrol helicopters were planned. The general financial crisis in Russia at least delayed the program. A prototype has not yet flown (as of September 2005).
