The Kamperbach is a five kilometer long brook in the area of ​​the city of Witten in the North Rhine-Westphalian Ennepe-Ruhr district . It is a right tributary of the Pleßbach

The Kamperbach rises west of Durchholz at an altitude of about 202  m above sea level. NHN .

It flows through Kämpen and West-Herbede and finally flows into the Pleßbach from the right at the Steinenhaus .

Flood

In the spring of 2020, the city of Witten will re-pipe the lower Kamperbach in the area of ​​Wittener Straße and Kämpenstraße over a length of about 300 meters to prevent flooding.
