Emir Dizdarević (born April 2, 1958 in Zenica ) is a Bosnian chess player .

In 1990 he won the Chess Balkaniad in Kavala with Yugoslavia . He was able to win the Bosnian individual championship twice: 2011 in Cazin and 2012 in Neum . He played for Bosnia in twelve Chess Olympiads : 1992 to 2004 and 2010 to 2018 . He also took part in the European team championships five times (1992 to 1999, 2003 and 2009). At the FIDE World Chess Championship in 2000 , he won the first round against Lev Psachis and failed in the second to Boris Gelfand .

In 1982 he was awarded the title of International Master (IM), in 1988 the title of Grand Master (GM).
