Faruk Bistric
Faruk Bistrić (born January 1, 1958 in Sarajevo ) is a Bosnian chess player .
He played for Bosnia at two Chess Olympiads : 1998 and 2002 . He also took part twice in the European team championships (1993 and 2003).
In the Swedish Elitserien (chess) 2000/01 he played on the second board of Kirseberg SK .
In 1997 he was awarded the title of International Master (IM) and in 2003 the title of Grand Master (GM). His highest rating was 2524 in July 2003.
