The canton of Cahors-Nord-Ouest was a French canton in the arrondissement of Cahors in the Lot department and in the Midi-Pyrénées region until 2015 ; its main town was Cahors . Marc Baldy ( PS ) was the representative in the General Council of the Department from 1979 to 2011 . He was followed by Serge Munté (also PS).
The canton was on average 123 meters above sea level , between 100 m in Pradines and 332 m in Cahors .
