The canton of Luzech is a French constituency in the Arrondissement of Cahors in the Lot department in the Occitania region ; its main town is Luzech , representatives in the general council of the department have been Marc Gastal and Maryse Maury since 2015.

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton of Luzech included the 13 municipalities of Albas , Anglars-Juillac , Bélaye , Caillac , Cambayrac , Carnac-Rouffiac , Castelfranc , Douelle , Luzech , Parnac , Saint-Vincent-Rive-d'Olt , Sauzet and Villesèque . Its layout corresponded to an area of 171.34 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 4619.
Changes in the community since the nationwide reorganization of the cantons
2019:
- Merger of Saint-Daunès , Bagat-en-Quercy and Saint-Pantaléon → Barguelonne-en-Quercy
- Merger of Le Boulvé ( canton of Puy-l'Évêque ), Fargues , Saint-Matré (canton of Puy-l'Évêque) and Saux (canton of Puy-l'Évêque) → Porte-du-Quercy (canton of Luzech and canton of Puy-l ' Évêque)
2018: Merger of Lascabanes , Saint-Cyprien and Saint-Laurent-Lolmie → Lendou-en-Quercy
2016: Fusion of Belmontet , Lebreil , Montcuq , Sainte-Croix and Valprionde → Montcuq-en-Quercy-Blanc
