Attractions
Chapel of Coulourgues
The small Romanesque chapel is dedicated to St. Benedict. It was built in the 13th century and very little has been changed. The chapel has a holy water font from the 17th or 18th century. The interior flooring is from the same era. The visible timbers are made of wood.
Miraval Castle
Jacques de Viguié, seigneur of the land and of Coulourgues, paid homage to the French king in 1663 for his fiefdom and his Miraval castle. The remains of a chimney in one of the basement rooms prove the age of the building, which can probably be dated to the 16th century. A document proves the viticulture on his property since the establishment. The current property is operated as a winery, since 2008 as an organic cultivation.
