It belongs to the canton of Luzech and the arrondissement of Cahors . It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2016 by merging the previous municipalities of Montcuq , Belmontet , Lebreil , Sainte-Croix and Valprionde . Since then, these have been Communes déléguées .
