Belvèze ( Occitan : Velbaser ) is a French commune with 209 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn-et-Garonne department in the Occitania region (before 2016: Midi-Pyrénées ). The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Castelsarrasin and in the canton of Pays de Serres Sud-Quercy (until 2015: canton of Montaigu-de-Quercy ). The inhabitants are called Belvézois .

Geographical location

Belvèze is located about 40 kilometers east-northeast of Agen on the Séoune . Belvèze is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montaigu-de-Quercy in the north and west, Montcuq-en-Quercy-Blanc in the north and east, Bouloc in the south and south-east and Lauzerte in the south and south-west.
