Fauroux ( La Cort in Occitan ) is a French commune with 171 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn-et-Garonne department in the Occitanie region (before 2016: Midi-Pyrénées ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement Castelsarrasin and the canton Pays de Serres Sud-Quercy (until 2015: canton Bourg-de-Visa ). The inhabitants are called Lacouriens .
geography
Lacour is about 44 kilometers northwest of Montauban . Lacour is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Roquecor in the north, Montaigu-de-Quercy in the northeast, Touffailles in the east, Fauroux in the southeast, Bourg-de-Visa in the south and Beauville in the west and southwest.
