Garganvillar is a French commune with 677 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn-et-Garonne department in the Occitanie region (before 2016: Midi-Pyrénées ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Castelsarrasin and the canton of Beaumont-de-Lomagne (until 2015: canton of Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Grave ). The inhabitants are called Garganvillarais .

Garganvillar is about 22 kilometers west-southwest of Montauban and about seven kilometers south-southwest of Castelsarrasin . Garganvillar is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Angeville in the north and north-west, Castelmayran in the north, Castelferrus in the north and north-east, Cordes-Tolosannes in the north-east, Lafitte in the east, Labourgade in the east and south-east, Larrazet in the south and south-east, Sérignac in the south and south-west as well Fajolles to the west and southwest.
