Le Pin ( Occitan : Lo Pin ) is a French commune in the Tarn-et-Garonne department in the Occitanie region (before 2016: Midi-Pyrénées ). The community with 123 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) is located in the arrondissement of Castelsarrasin and is part of the canton of Garonne-Lomagne-Brulhois (until 2015: canton of Auvillar ). The inhabitants are called Pinois .

geography

Le Pin is about 30 kilometers west-northwest of Montauban . Le Pin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Merles in the north, Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Grave in the east and northeast, Caumont in the south and east, Asques in the southwest and Saint-Michel in the west.

The A62 autoroute runs through the municipality .
