Pommevic ( Occitan Pomavic ) is a French commune with 547 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn-et-Garonne department in the Occitania region (before 2016: Midi-Pyrénées ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement Castelsarrasin and the canton of Valence . The inhabitants are called Pommevicains .
geography
Pommevic is located about 36 kilometers west-northwest of Montauban on the Canal de Golfech (and the Canal latéral à la Garonne ). Pommevic is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Goudourville in the north and west, Malause in the east, Merles in the south and south-east and Valence in the south and west.
