Montagudet is a French commune with 197 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn-et-Garonne department in the Occitanie region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). It belongs to the Arrondissement Castelsarrasin and the canton Pays de Serres Sud-Quercy (until 2015 Lauzerte ). It borders Touffailles in the northwest , Lauzerte in the northeast, Saint-Amans-de-Pellagal in the southeast, Montbarla in the south and Miramont-de-Quercy in the southwest . The residents call themselves Montagudetois.
