Saint-Aignan is located about 24 kilometers west-southwest of Montauban and about four kilometers southwest of Castelsarrasin on the Garonne . Saint-Aignan is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Castelsarrasin in the north and east, Castelferrus in the south and south-east and Castelmayran in the south and west.
