Saint-Paul-Flaugnac is a French commune with 997 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Lot department in the Occitanie region . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Cahors and the canton of Marches du Sud-Quercy . It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2016 through the amalgamation of the previous municipalities of Saint-Paul-de-Loubressac and Flaugnac , which have since had the status of Communes déléguées . The administrative center is in Flaugnac. Neighboring communities are Pern in the north, Fontanès in the north-east, Montdoumerc in the east, Montpezat-de-Quercy in the south-east, Montfermier in the south-west and Castelnau Montratier-Sainte Alauzie in the west.
