The canton of Pusuta is an administrative district in the La Paz department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
The canton of Pusuta is one of twelve cantons of the municipality Patacamaya in the province of Aroma and is located in the southernmost part of the district. It borders the canton of Colchani to the east and north , and the canton of Patacamaya to the west and south .
The canton extends between 17 ° 15 '25 "and 17 ° 17' 25" south latitude and 67 ° 49 'and 67 ° 52' west latitude, it measures from north to south up to four kilometers and from west to east up to six kilometers. The canton has only one place ( localidad ), the central place is Jatuquira with 109 inhabitants ( 2012 ) in the western part of the canton.

The canton of Pusuta is located on the Bolivian plateau between the Andes mountain ranges of the Cordillera Occidental in the west and the Cordillera Central in the east.
