The canton Zwehren was an administrative unit in the Kassel district of the Fulda department in the Napoleonic Kingdom of Westphalia . The main town of the canton and seat of the justice of the peace was Niederzwehren , today a district of Kassel . The canton comprised 14 villages and hamlets, had 4,164 residents and an area of 1.16 square miles .
