Pulpit in La Gouesnière

The pulpit in the Catholic Church of Notre-Dame de l'Assomption in La Gouesnière , a French commune in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in the Brittany region , was created in 1785. The pulpit was added to the list of architectural monuments in France in 1990 as Monument historique .

The wooden pulpit was made by the carpenter Etienne Lesne from Saint-Malo . The polygonal sound cover is crowned by a vase with flowers.

The pulpit, the pulpit wall and the wooden stairs have no decoration. They are simply divided into different fields with profiled strips.
