Pulpit in Gennes-sur-Seiche

The pulpit in the Sulpice Catholic Church in Gennes-sur-Seiche , a French commune in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in the Brittany region , was created in the 18th century. The pulpit was added to the list of architectural monuments in France in 1966 as Monument historique .

The wooden pulpit, which was added to a column on the north side of the nave, has an octagonal sound cover, which is crowned by an angel making music.

The pulpit is decorated with the depiction of the apostles Peter , Paul , James and the Savior .

The pulpit can be reached via a wooden staircase with a carved ribbon.
