Pulpit in Amanlis

The pulpit in the Catholic Church of St-Martin in Amanlis , a French parish in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in the Brittany region , was created in 1708. The pulpit was added to the list of architectural monuments in France in 1911 as Monument historique .

The wooden pulpit was made by Mathurin Gambier from Rennes . The sound cover, which is richly decorated, is crowned by an angel.

The pulpit is decorated with the four evangelists and their symbols . It is supported by a round support.

The pulpit can be reached via a wooden staircase with carved reliefs.
