The pulpit in the Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption church in Sainte-Marie-de-Ré , a French commune in the Charente-Maritime department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , was created in the 18th century. The wooden pulpit has been classified as a monument historique since 1977 .

The pulpit is completely unadorned, there is no sound cover.
