action
Wilhelm Harmsen is a captain in Hamburg, but instead of sailing around the world on large ships, he stayed as a captain on a tugboat on the Elbe for the sake of his family . When he retires, he inherits the mansion of an old lady whose life he once saved many years ago. While his wife, the two adult children and "grandpa" are immediately enthusiastic, the down-to-earth, sometimes somewhat grumpy fur seal has to make friends with this new life situation in fine Blankenese . As a result, the family experiences all sorts of events that are always related to seafaring and the port of Hamburg .
