Life
The daughter of a shoe retailer grew up in Thuringia until she was 18 . After secondary school, she completed a three-year commercial apprenticeship. She came to Bavaria as a secretary and took acting lessons from Fritz Haneke in Salzburg and Nestor Lampert in Munich. In 1942 she made her debut at the Oberstdorfer Bauerntheater. From 1948 to 1968 she directed the “ Siegfried Lindner Stage ” together with Siegfried Lindner . Lindner, whom she married in 1951, was her second husband.
1961 gave her Olf Fischer in the Bauer Fluctuating The three polar bears at Komödienstadel the role of the tyrannical Haslocherin, which she managed the final breakthrough. About 20 comedy nobility followed and made Marianne Lindner popular. In her roles she embodied the spirited “nippers” with the pointed tongue. In addition to her numerous guest appearances on the theaters of Munich (Theater Rechts der Isar, Münchner Kammerspiele ), the actress has also repeatedly appeared in films and television series. She was u. a. in the series Königlich Bayerisches Amtsgericht , Der Alte , Familie Meier , Irgendwie und Sowieso , Marienhof , Peter Steiner's Theaterstadl and Der Bulle von Tölz . In 1983 she played on the side of Gerhard Polt and Gisela Schneeberger in the comedy Kehraus .
After her 80th birthday in 2002, Marianne Lindner retired. In 2008, however, she returned to television and starred in the series To the point, Lena and in My God, Anna . Since 1964 she has also worked as a radio play speaker for Bavarian Broadcasting . Here, too, she was heard predominantly in Bavarian folk plays. In doing so, she worked with the same people she was seen with on the televised tapes.
The mother of two daughters had been divorced since 1971. She lived in Gmund am Tegernsee until her death .
