Count Schorschi

Graf Schorschi is a folk game with music in three acts, published in 1941 by Carl Borro Schwerla from Munich .

Walburga Graf's stand is at Munich's Viktualienmarkt. The young Georg, called Schorschi, supports his mother in selling flowers and vegetables. One day, Schorschi has to hand over a bouquet of roses to the Schrumm family. There he introduces himself correctly by name with "Herr Graf" and is mistakenly mistaken for a nobleman who is actually expected. When it emerges that he is a suspected impostor, Count Schorschi is instead arrested by mistake. At the police station, the matter is laboriously cleared up, and finally he can be happy with Schrumm's daughter Bertl.
