The German A-youth volleyball championship 2013 was won by TSV Mühldorf in the male offspring and the Dresdner SC in the female offspring. In the final of the boys on May 19, TSV Mühldorf and VfB Friedrichshafen faced each other in Paderborn . For the girls, the Dresdner SC played against Rotation Prenzlauer Berg at the same time in Bremen .

In the groups everyone played against each other on two sets of wins. Afterwards, the second and third placed in the respective groups played against each other in the knockout system for four places in the quarter-finals according to the draw.

Both losers in the semifinals received bronze medals.
