Kara Killmer
Kara Killmer (born June 14, 1988 in Crowley , Texas ) is an American actress . Her best-known role is that of paramedic Sylvie Brett in the NBC television series Chicago Fire and its spin-offs Chicago PD and Chicago Med .
Life
Killmer was born in Crowley , Texas . She studied at Baylor University , where she graduated in 2010 with a degree in performing arts .
Career
Killmer began her acting work in 2010 in the Hulu - reality TV - web series If I Can Dream , in which the various participants tried in the entertainment industry to take root.
In 2014, Killmer was cast for NBC pilot Tin Man , but was ultimately not signed for the role.
Since 2014, Killmer has played the paramedic Sylvie Brett in the NBC television series Chicago Fire , where she appeared in the opening episode Harte Zeiten (Original: Always ) - German first broadcast: April 8, 2015 - Leslie Shay ( Lauren German ) as a member of the rescue team at Wache 51 replaced. Killmer has embodied the same character in the Chicago PD spin-off since it started on April 8, 2014 in the USA. The German first broadcast began on November 13, 2014. In this role as paramedic Sylvie Brett , Kara Killmer is dubbed by Friederike Walke .
In 2015, Killmer got a lead role in Beyond the Mask , an action thriller set during the American Civil War . The US premiere took place on April 6, 2015.
