Career

Born in the Netherlands, Jetten lives in Berneau , Belgium. Like many billiards players, she began with the classic disciplines of free game and cadre , but then switched completely to three-cushion in 2006 after receiving a wild card for the three-cushion world championship for women from the Union Mondiale de Billard (UMB) . Until 2010, the Dutch national coach and European champion Christ van der Smissen was her coach. Her friend Therese Klompenhouwer is also her worst competitor, who is usually the winner in direct duels. Her greatest success is the 2nd place at the World Cup in Sivas (Turkey) in 2008, where she lost the final against Orie Hida . At the European Championships she took 2nd place in 2009 and 2013 (both times in the final against Therese Klompenhouwer) and in 2007 and 2011 3rd place. At the Dutch three-cushion championship, she took 2nd place in 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2016, each behind Klompenhouwer. Since October 2019 she has been playing in the 1st Bundesliga three cushion for BC Fuhlenbrock, to which Roland Forthomme is also under contract.
