Karl-Heinz Cammann

Karl-Heinz Cammann (born December 11, 1928 in Bremen ; † November 22, 2011 in Quickborn ) was a German sports journalist .

life and career

Cammann, born in Bremen in 1928 , began his professional career with the Sport-Informations-Dienst , later worked for Radio Bremen and from 1972 until his retirement in 1994 at the NDR . He reported for the NDR on the Olympic Games , soccer world and European championships. From 1987 to 1999 he was also President of the Association of German Sports Journalists . He was a member of the Executive Committee of the World Sports Journalists Association AIPS for many years and was made an honorary member of the AIPS.

Karl-Heinz Cammann left behind a wife and two grown children.
