With the new houses he became champions of the Oberliga Westfalen without commitment and made it to the 2nd Bundesliga in the following round of promotion . In the summer of 1985 Neukirch moved to the second division KSV Hessen Kassel , with whom he was relegated from the 2nd Bundesliga two years later. Then Neukirch went to the upper division SC Verl , with whom he was champion of the upper league Westphalia in the summer of 1991. In the following round of promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga, however, Verl failed at FC Remscheid . Neukirch then ended his career.
