Karl Adam Anton von Breuner (also Karl Adam Anton Count Breuner von Stübing-Fladnitz ; * October 28, 1689 , † January 16, 1777 in Vienna ) was a nobleman, Supreme President of Justice and Governor of Styria.

Life

Karl Adam Anton came from the Styrian line of the Austrian noble family Breuner . His father Karl Wichard Graf Breuner of Stübing-Fladnitz was privy councilor , governor of Styria , Austrian domestic Hofkammerpräsident and Supreme Erblandkämmerer in Gorizia , his mother was Maria Cecilia Josepha Countess of Dietrichstein. In 1723 Karl Adam Kämmerer was appointed Vice-President of the Inner Austrian Court Chamber in 1732 and Governor of Styria in 1735. In 1751 he became the highest judicial president in Vienna, then also a privy councilor. In 1759 he became a knight of the Order of the Golden Fleece , he died in Vienna in 1777, but is buried in Mautern (Styria) .

Karl Adam Anton was married to Maria Josepha Countess von Starhemberg , the widow of Count Johann von Herberstein . The marriage resulted in four sons and one daughter. The eldest son Karl Thomas Franz was also the Styrian governor, the second Franz Xaver Ludwig became Prince-Bishop of Lavant and Chiemsee, the third Anton Ernst von Breuner was provost in Freising and Passau vicar general in Upper Austria.
