Karl Adam Heinrich von Feilitzsch
Karl Adam Heinrich von Feilitzsch (born June 2, 1701 ; † January 18, 1768 in Berlin ) was a royal Prussian colonel and the first chief of the Invalid Corps and commandant of the Invalidenhaus in Berlin .
He was the son of Hans Adam von Feilitzsch and his wife Marthen Elisabeth von Panzschmann. His father was the owner of the Treuen and Unterlauterbach estates in Vogtland . In 1720 he went into Prussian service in the regiment "Anhalt-Dessau on foot" and in 1725 became an ensign, 1730 second lieutenant and 1735 premier lieutenant. In 1740 he was promoted to staff captain and shortly thereafter to captain. On December 15, 1745, he was seriously injured in the battle of Kesselsdorf and unfit for the field. On July 10, 1747, he became a colonel and commandant of the Invalidenhaus in Berlin .
After his death he was not buried in the Invalidenfriedhof , but under the altar of the Evangelical Invalidenhauskirche. He wasn't married.
